Kaup’s caecilian

Caecilians are the least familiar group of amphibians. Although it is an air breather, the Kaup's caecilian lives in the water and rarely surfaces. This amphibian can absorb oxygen from the water through its skin and is often seen wiggling in place to increase water flow.
