Plecostomus

The Plecostomus, also called the suckermouth catfish, is a tropical freshwater fish native to northeastern South America. These fish are extremely popular in aquariums as they are bottom feeders that are great for cleaning the bottoms of tanks. They are also special because they can breathe air, and will sometimes surface to take in oxygen.
