Red-legged Honeycreeper

Female red-legged honeycreepers are solely responsible for nest building. The nest is placed in a shrub or tree and secured using twigs and cobwebs. While one the female builds the nest and incubates the eggs, both males and females care for the chicks once they’ve hatched.
