White-tailed deer
Male, female and baby deer are called buck, doe, and fawn. Fawns are born spotted for camouflage and lose their spots as they grow. Although deer fawns can stand and walk right after birth, they don't follow their mothers right away. They stay hidden for the first few weeks of life, only standing when their mother approaches.
